1941 FORD BUSINESS COUPEA TRUE 1 OF A KIND STREET ROD
BEST OF THE BEST - ALWAYS!!
NO RESERVE
This Rod is a true example of what a labor of love represents. Every single nut and bolt on this build was methodically planned then executed to such a fashion that it gave it a new meaning to the beauty is in the details. No matter where you look on this car there are details so subtle that the naked eye can't comprehend. This 41 Ford went from Business Coupe to Nobody's Business Coupe. This car is like no other and the production it makes arriving at an event or car show is always at least an hour long. From removing it from the trailer, to hearing it rumble to listening to the words as to why this Street Rod is so unforgettable....It never gets old. This labor of love took almost 30 years to complete and unfortunately its time to show it off was cut short as the owner suddenly passed away. It is now offered for sale for the first time to the public, and I will try, not only in words but in pictures and video to encompass everything this car meant to all the parties involved, both past and present. It truly was a collaboration of multiple custom shops working in unison together as the owner was like a conductor moving his wand over them to produce an amazing symphony. Exterior:
As to the body of this car, there is so much more than what meets your eyes. The roof line was chopped 5" as the rear portion was laid down. The rear window was precisely configured within all the custom work to appear almost invisible as you look at it from the side. The rear fenders were lowered to compliment the roof line. From the side it almost looks like a caricature with the long sleek rear trunk line. The front fenders have been reshaped to accept the custom mesh center and cheek grills. 1952 Ford headlights were frenched in to compliment the mesh grill and bring the front end together. The suicide doors and trunk were shaved in to clean the lines up. The body was painted PPG Black that was custom mixed and the body and its lines are razor straight. The depth in the paint is unbelievable and the quality is hard to some up in words or even pictures. The hood stainless trim is hinged as the hood opens.
The chassis is a Custom X Member with a Heit's Ford Mustang cross member. Underneath the car is almost as pretty as the top. Any questions about the body and chassis, please let me know.
Interior:
The interior was done in a custom red and black combination. The front seats came from a BMW which were re-foamed and shaped. The rear seat was built to mimic the contour and lines of the front seats. All done with top quality leather. The dash was modified to accept the red Steelie gauges. The car also comes with vintage air conditioning. A JVC sound system has been added. Custom LED PRND indicator was custom fitted in the dash. A custom molded console was fitted to go from front to rear. A custom headliner was built to bring it all together. The trunk's interior was made to match the interior and all was hidden for a clean, show quality appearance. Please view the pictures and video and let me know of any question you may have.
Drive-Train:
The drive train selected for this car is the perfect match. Its a built 357 CID that is producing 500 horse and to complement the look under the hood, there has has been 3 Demon deuces added to top off that tri-power look and sound. It has a modified 700-R4 transmission that is durable enough to handle that type of horsepower, along with overdrive to enjoy cruising at high speeds. The magno-flow exhaust was set up with cut outs of an UNGODLY sound. The ride and suspension was built with the Ridetech Air Ride System with shockwaves. The rear is a Ford 9" rear.
