This is an original ticket stub for the 47th Rose Bowl football game played between the Washington Huskies and Minnesota Golden Gophers on January 2, 1961 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The Huskies (#6 AP) upset Minnesota (#1 AP) 17-7 as MVP quarterback Bob Schloredt threw a touchdown pass and rushed for another. The game is most commonly remembered for the halftime card stunt that ended with Cal Tech rather than Huskies. The ticket is in excellent condition with no creases. The ticket is clean with no stains. The only issue is the slightly bent corners. Ticket will be shipped in a rigid plastic sleeve to protect against damage during shipping.
