The new NFP Premium EM 5 filter cartridge combines water filtering and revitalization in one cartridge.
A special fired clay is used for the production of EM ceramics, which contains organic material from plants that are millions of years old and, during the several months of fermentation process, are food for the effective microorganisms (EM). Among other things, EM ceramics reduce the surface tension of the water and shrink the cluster structures. This will restore the natural state of the water.
The EM ceramic is "baked" into the filter cartridge as a powder during manufacture. This creates a very large contact surface with the water. Together with the proven filter performance of the NFP Premium filter technology, this results in the ideal water filtration.

This sintered activated carbon block filter based on coconut focuses on the chemical-physical removal of undesirable ingredients in drinking water, e.g. through the influences of the house installation. Compared to the combination filters of activated carbon block and membrane, there is twice the amount of activated carbon available for extraction.

Service life, maintenance, filter change
A service life of 6 months is recommended throughout Europe. In addition to the statements of din 1988, the epdwa guidelines, the HKI recommendations and the findings of various dindin EN 14898 and DVGW worksheet W 513 must be taken into account.
In principle, 10,000 liters of water can be filtered within the 6 months. However, it may need to be changed earlier if the water flow is noticeably reduced. An early change is not a defect in the filter used, but an indication of the increased occurrence of fine particles in the unfiltered water.
