This is a
competitor permit for the week before the 1961 Daytona 500
.  That weekend featured a compact car race that Lee Petty won in a Valiant.  It also featured a race in the regular Daytona stock cars called a race of champions that was won by Joe Weatherly =
NOT A COMPETITOR PERMIT TO THE 61 500 = A PASS FOR THE WEEK BEFORE.
CONDITION = Some slight wear and bending along the edges, otherwise in beautiful shape.
