Before an album, video, or DVD comes out, music companies circulate a limited number of promotional buyer's brochure flyers offering the upcoming release to retailers. They vary in content and quality, yet usually contain photos and/or artwork along with album information, and song titles; some of the color ones fold open, offering more pictures and/or information. Sometimes previous releases are also promoted again, in hopes that wholesale buyers will bring in substantial back catalog of the artist too. This is one of those limited edition promo flyers which measures approximately 8 1/2" by 11" which has survived the years, and is a neat collectible that's rarely seen. And though it has three punch holes on it from being in a "Buyer's Notebook" (at a local record distributor in Houston, Texas which closed many years ago) it is in very nice condition!
