This is a very nice oval pressed glass open salt or salt cellar.  It is shown as Open Salt #2714 in "5,000 Open Salts  A Collector's Guide" by Heacock and Johnson.  They indicate it is in the KENNETH Pattern made by Ohio Flint and Jefferson Glass, circa 1908-1918.
This piece measures about 4 inches in length.  It is marked inside with an underscored Krys-tol.  There are smaller chips on two of the top sawtooth edges.  The Rarity and Price Guide lists this piece as Scarce.  Please see photographs for details.
