Description
I just purchased this set of twelve (12) perfect antique Belleek open individual salt cellars at a local estate here in Central Virginia. The eggshell porcelain dips were produced by Willets Manufacturing Co. of Trenton, NJ., between 1884 and 1909 and are marked (as pictured) with the Willets blue logo. Each delicate little cup measures 1 3/4" wide and 3/4" deep and features a sawtooth or crimped edging. They appear to be in excellent condition, although it is difficult to tell if there are minor flaws on the many curls. A wonderful set for any table, any occasion. Willets. The company made Belleek in the late 1880s and 1890s in shapes similar to those used by the Irish Belleek factory. They stopped working about 1909. The New Jersey China Pottery Co. continued the Willets Belleek line until 1914. A variety of marks were used, all including the name Willets.Track Page Views With
